Res Hall staff get new nameUniversity Residential Life has announced that it is changing the name of hall staff positions from Resident Assistant to Community Assistants for the 2005-06 academic year. The changes are part of efforts in selecting, training and supervising staff to enable them to become proficient community developers and resources for their residents Senior Resident Assistants will become Senior Community Assistants (SCA) next year. The Residence Hall Coordinator (RHC) and Area Coordinator (AC) position names will stay the same. University Residential Life recommends that the new titles be included in all references to these positions in print and web-based materials for the 2005-06 academic year. |
