Goldenberg appointed to res life postMary Grace Goldenberg has been appointed director of University Residential Life, it was announced by William Banis, vice president for student affairs. Goldenberg has served as acting director since February 2003. Her responsibilities have included managing the total operation of University Residential Life, including: Undergraduate Residential Life (4,200 students); Graduate, Professional and Off-Campus Housing (3,800 students); and Fraternity and Sorority Life (1,500 students). She has served as senior associate director of University Residential Life since July 2001, with responsibility for the total programmatic operation of all undergraduate residence halls. Her previous positions at Northwestern include Associate Director of Undergraduate Residential Life, September 1991 to July 2001; Acting Director of Graduate and Off Campus Housing, April 1994 to June 1994; Assistant Director of Undergraduate Residential Life, August 1988 to September 1991. Goldenberg, a faculty associate at the Ayers College of Commerce and Industry in 1990-2000, received The Margaret J. Barr Award for Outstanding Contributions to the Student Affairs Division in 1996. |
