Crowe Hall dedication is May 18A dedication celebration of Crowe Hall will be held Tuesday (May 18).
Two lectures in Harris Hall 107 will precede the dedication ceremony. Ed Paschke, Mary Jane Crowe Professor of Art and Art History, will give the inaugural lecture at 4 p.m. on “Ideas in Transition.” Hans Belting, Mary Jane Crowe Visiting Professor of Art History, will speak at 4:45 p.m. on “Art History and the Art Museum.” The dedication ceremony at 5:30 p.m. in the Franke Courtyard of Crowe Hall will feature remarks by President Henry S. Bienen and Daniel Linzer, dean of the Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences. A reception will follow. The events are open to the Northwestern community. Crowe Hall, a four-story building connected to Kresge Hall, opened last fall, providing space for several departments and programs of the Weinberg School. |
