Sibs-N-Kids events start April 30Younger siblings of Northwestern students, as well as children of faculty and staff members and graduate students, are invited to spend a weekend on campus as part of the annual Sibs-N-Kids event run by the Center for Student Involvement. The Sibs-N-Kids weekend, now in its third year, takes place from April 30 to May 2. Assistant Director for the Center for Student Involvement Jeremy Wingerter said he expects between 40 and 50 youngsters to attend. The weekend targets participants aged 9 to 15. Parents or guardians can pay the $20 registration fee until the start of the program, he said. The cost covers all events that take place at Northwestern, such as theatre performances or athletic contests. A special part of the weekend, Wingerter said, are the May 1 Chicagoland trips to sites such as the Lincoln Park Zoo, Michigan Avenue, the ESPN Zone and the Museum Campus. |
