On the job: Daniela Petrovska

Name and title: Daniela Petrovska, manager, Web communications for the Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences

What she does: She oversees Internet initiatives for the college, including nearly 70 department and program sites. Petrovska helps departments put their best face on the Web. She also ensures the college’s online communications comply with Northwestern standards and its brand integrity.

Setting new standards: In creating standards for the college, she works with people from many different departments and is exposed to the wide array of degrees and programs offered.

Progress to date: She has completely redesigned 16 department sites to date. They include the main Weinberg College site, as well as sites for the departments of English, anthropology and psychology. Petrovska and her staff of three students are currently working on complete site redesigns for Asian and Middle East studies, Asian-American studies and geology.
