HR newsFeb. 27 is the deadline for submitting claim forms for reimbursement from FSA accounts for services received in calendar year 2003. Any account balance remaining as of March 1 will be forfeited. For ongoing FSA claims processing, claims received by the 15th of a month will be reimbursed at the end of that month. Otherwise, reimbursement will be received at the end of the next month. The McGaw YMCA Child Care Center is offering priority fall registration for Northwestern affiliates beginning March 1. Through an agreement with the University, the center provides faculty, staff and students access to available fall childcare spaces at the center during the priority registration period, which runs through April 30. Early registration is encouraged. Need-based fee assistance is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Northwestern University open house/registration events will be held from 8:30 to 10 a.m. March 2 and March 10 at the Evanston center, located at 1420 Maple at the southwest corner of Maple and Lake, near the main YMCA building. Visitors can tour the facility, meet the staff, learn about fall programs and reserve a space for their child. Tours an also be arranged by calling the center at (847) 475-8580. The 2003 W-2 Forms were mailed to employees the week of January 26. For active employees, the W-2s were mailed to the address where employees receive their paychecks. For temps and graduate students not paid in the past 30 days as well as inactive employees, the W-2s were sent a home address. If you do not receive your form, please call the Payroll Department at 847-491-7362. Undergraduate classes at the School of Continuing Studies began this week.
