New dual degree program combines journalism, law

Henry S. Bienen, Garry Wills and Studs Terkel
A MEETING MADE IN AMERICA
Chicago author Studs Terkel and Garry Wills, adjunct professor of history, are joined by President Henry S. Bienen at the opening celebration of the Block Museum’s winter exhibitions. The two Pulitzer Prize-winning authors discussed history, politics and war, with a few jokes thrown in as well, to the delight of more than 250 guests in the James B. Pick and Rosalyn M. Laudati Auditorium. Afterwards, guests toured the exhibitions, thematically entitled “Made in America,” which explore the impact of war, labor, economic hardships, gender and race in American society
