Evanston offices take new campus homesVarious Evanston campus offices have moved to new locations since the fall, and others will occupy different space within the next few months.
The Center for Writing Arts moved to Kresge Hall from 627 Dartmouth. The Searle Center for Teaching Excellence has occupied three additional offices at the Dartmouth location. Advisors at the Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences have moved from 1813 Hinman and 1922 Sheridan to 1908 Sheridan. Counseling and Psychological Services, formerly located in Student Health Service, now occupies 619 Emerson. The Undergraduate Leadership Program moved from 619 Emerson to 1813 Hinman. University Press has vacated its space at 2020 Ridge and moved from 625 Colfax to consolidate in 629 Noyes. The McCormick School of Engineering and Applied Science will relocate some offices to 625 Colfax in the space vacated by University Press. The Summer Session of the School of Continuing Studies and the Institute for Learning in Retirement, now in Annenberg Hall, will move to 405 Church. The University Sexual Harassment Prevention Office has moved from Annenberg Hall to 405 Church. The 405 Church building was vacated by the Center for Public Safety, which is now located in Chambers Hall, 600 Foster. The center also vacated its space on the first floor of 555 Clark but retained basement space for training and education classes for law enforcement personnel. The first floor of 555 Clark will be occupied by Student Financial Services and Student Accounts, which is moving from 619 Clark. The relocation is expected to take place by fall 2004 after renovations at 555 Clark have been completed. The Master of Science in Education Program of the School of Education and Social Policy will move to the space at 618 Garrett vacated by the Center for International and Comparative Studies. The center is now located at 1902 Sheridan. Auditing has moved to 2020 Ridge from 515 Clark, which is now used by the departments of anthropology and sociology. |
