News briefsOutdated Northwestern and other telephone books may be placed in office paper recycling bins through January. After Jan. 31, phone books will not be accepted with office paper. For more information, contact NU Recycling at nurecycle@northwestern.edu. On June 20, Northwestern will no longer accept e-mail sent to addresses in the “nwu.edu” domain, the variants “md.nwu.edu” and “kellogg .nwu.edu”, or any departmental e-mail domain within “nwu.edu.” This is a step in the retirement of the “nwu.edu” domain, which is described at www.tss.northwestern.edu/reference/northwestern-edu.html. Send questions to consultant@northwestern.edu. W-2 Forms will be in the mail by Jan. 26. If you need to visit your tax accountant prior to the issuance of the forms, use the Dec. 26 biweekly paycheck or Dec. 30 monthly paycheck. For more information, call the payroll department at (847) 491-7362. |
