Time to think service recognitionHuman Resources has announced it is accepting nominations for Northwestern Service Excellence and Employee of the Year awards. The Service Excellence award is appropriate for times when “thank you” isn’t quite enough. Supervisors can submit nominations any time a staff member goes beyond the call of duty and performs at an unusually high level. Nominees may be recognized more than once. The Employee of the Year award honors a staff member from each campus for outstanding contributions over the course of the year. Individuals are encouraged to submit nominations now. The deadline is Jan. 26. To be eligible, staff must have three years of service at Northwest-ern. Finalists and winners are invited to attend the University’s Staff Recognition luncheon in the spring. Visit www.northwestern.edu/hr/training/servrec.html or call Judy Mitchell at (847) 491-7509 for additional information, instructions and nomination forms. |
