Family Weekend is Nov. 7-9By Kathleen Stringham Families of current and prospective students can choose from a wide range of campus activities during Family Weekend Nov. 7-9. Highlights include opportunities to attend classes with their student and to meet the dean of their student’s school; remarks by President Henry S. Bienen and Vice President for Student Affairs William Banis; a football game; music and theatre events; and receptions for various ethnic groups. Activities begin Friday morning Nov. 7 when attendees can register and enjoy refreshments at Norris University Center. From 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. families may attend classes and meet associate deans, Student Affairs staff and other administrators. Families have free use of the Henry Crown Sports Pavilion and Norris Aquatics Center during the weekend.
