Kellogg Certificate Program for Undergraduates
Mission or Purpose
The Kellogg Certificate Program for Undergraduates is a selective program that prepares undergraduate students for analytical roles at various types of organizations or graduate/professional programs in a variety of academic areas, including business, law and economics. Taught by Kellogg faculty, the program offers two certificates (Financial Economics and Managerial Analytics) that focus on building skills within the framework of a business environment and developing the analytical tools and models needed to make business decisions.
The Kellogg Certificate Program for Undergraduates is not exclusively a summer program, such that coursework is only offered during the academic year. Career-related services are provided to enrolled students during the summer. This is a peak time for students to take advantage of resume preparation, employer research, networking, internship support, and more.
Students must be admitted as a current student in the CPU (based on application and fulfillment of pre-requisite coursework).
“The program also has allowed me to network with lots of professionals in competitive fields, which will open a lot of doors in the future. I even got my summer internship through the program. Rachel, the career specialist, was incredibly helpful in steering me toward the opportunities that were most in line with my career goals and supportive of my preferences and values.” - Hannah Teitelbaum ’13
