State of the University Address

Each year NUSAC partners with the Office of the President to sponsor the annual State of the University Address. Great effort is put into the preparation of this event, as multiple departments around the University converge to make it a success. For the last three years, NUSAC has worked with NUIT and Academic Technologies on the preparation and implementation of the live address and web cast.

NUSAC Surveys

	Survey on 2006 Open Enrollment and Health Care Options Last fall the University Open Enrollment process and health plans options changed significantly. NUSAC conducted a survey to gauge the staff experience during Open Enrollment 2007 and the staff perception of changes in the health plan options. We wanted to know what your experience was like during Open Enrollment and any feedback that you could give us on the process. The information gathered from this survey has been compiled, analyzed, and shared with key University decision makers in Benefits, Human Resources and Central Administration. 	Health & Benefits Fair Survey Results Every year, NUSAC asks staff to fill out a short survey at the Health & Benefits Fair held on each campus. Click below for this year's survey results and to see the results of previous surveys.

University's Highest Order of Excellence

NUSAC was asked to review this document in preparation for participation in the Forum on Community Values. After reading the HOE 2, NUSAC realized this was a good opportunity for the staff to become more involved at the planning level for the University. As a result, NUSAC contacted the Provost’s Office and requested to be a part of the committees that would do the goal and objectives planning for the HOE 2, in particular for the section titled “The Enabling Infrastructure” on pages 12 – 14.

NUSAC strongly encourages all employees to read the HOE 2 document on the Provost’s web site, as well as the Administrative Infrastructure Planning Committee Report and Recommendations. You will need your NetID and Password to access these documents.

In addition, we would recommend employees review the final report from the previous Highest Order of Excellence (1998-2002) which outlines in detail how the University allocated the resources raised through Campaign Northwestern.
