2008-2009 Thank Yous
We must thank the many people who have helped us over the past year to make PIP what it is today. Thank you to our administrative allies, including the Northwestern Alumni Association (NAA), and our applicant readers and interviewers. Thank you to all of the alumni mentors who have helped shape the PIP experience of our fellows. Thank you to the returning and new Host Organizations who were involved in PIP over the past year of fellowships. Thank you to our New York, San Francisco, and Washington, D.C. Satellite City coordinators who have made NUPIP a national entity for the first time. Thank you to the 2008-9 fellows, who devoted their year to fighting for social justice. Thank you to our Seminar Coordinator, Courtney Spalding Meyer, for setting up engaging seminars for our fellows. Thank you to our Faculty and Staff allies at Northwestern, and especially our faculty advisor, Paul Arntson. We must also thank several key figures in PIP who will be moving on to bigger and better things next year: Thank you to Mary Bowmann for her invaluable contributions as Matching and Placement Coordinator over the past two years. Finally, thank you to Sam Schiller and Kelly Kirkpatrick, our two graduating program coordinators who have worked at PIP for the last three years. Thank you for your incredible perseverance, intensity, curiosity, and dedication to improving NUPIP. Your help has made PIP the success that it is.
