Meal Plans:

The Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary Meal Plans are perfect for any student or faculty/staff member. These meal plans offer a fixed number of Garrett Points per semester. Garrett Points can be used at any of the six residential dining halls: 1835 Hinman, Allison, Foster Walker, Elder, Sargent and Willard. Garrett Points can also be used at these authorized retail dining locations: Willie's Food Court and Willie's Too in the Norris Center, Cafe a la Cart, Crowe Cafe, Einstein Bros. Bagels, Lisa's Cafe, Plaza Cafe and Tech Express. You may also use your Garrett I.D. Card at the three convenience stores on campus. Excluded locations are the Allen Center and “Kafe Kellogg.” Garrett Points can be used 7 days a week. Check out our daily menus.

A full meal plan includes the following:
1,380 Garrett Points. . . . ..$1,380/semester
1 Garrett Point = $1.00

Unused balances are not carried forward from semester to semester and are not transferable or refundable.

To sign up for a meal plan, please visit the Business Office located in the Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary Main Building on the 1st floor.

Please note that the Garrett Card is not a “WildCARD”. This means that the Garrett Card will not be honored at retail vendors in the City of Evanston, nor will it work in campus copy machines or NU vending machines.

Munch Money:

Eating well isn’t rocket science. With the Munch Money prepaid debit program, you can nosh your way across campus without a penny in your pocket. It takes just $25 to get started and, with the auto refill option, you’ll never go hungry. Plus, because you get a bonus of 5% on deposits of $100 or more, it’s the smarter way to eat. Also, your Munch Money account balance rolls over each year. That means that you never lose the money that you have on your account!^

Munch Money is accepted at all nuCuisine locations on campus. With Munch Money, you’ll never need to carry around cash, and with the auto-refill option, you’ll never need to worry about your balance.

Café a la Cart, located in Loder Hall, is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 am - 2:00 pm during the academic school year. Café a la Cart will feature breakfast pastries, sandwiches, salads, baguettes, bottle beverages, coffee and desserts for the on the go customer. Items at Café a la Cart can be purchased with Garrett Points, Munch Money, credit cards or cash.

Community Meals will be available in Loder Dining Hall on Wednesday evening during every week in which there are classes scheduled -- between 4:45 pm - 6:00 pm.

Community Meals are free for students with a Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary I.D Card and for their dependent children under age 5.

Community Meals for non-students, as well as faculty/staff, is $7.50/person. Community Meals can be purchased with Munch Money or cash.

Faculty/Staff:

Not interested in a meal plan? Did you know that you can visit any nuCuisine retail locations or residential dining halls? All of our locations accept Munch Money or cash.

Also, Munch Money account balances for faculty and staff does not end in August. That means you never lose the money that you have on your account!

Visit the Jerome B. Cohen Commons Faculty and Staff Dining Room on the 4th floor of the Tech Institute. There you can find a hot entrée, a hot vegetarian entrée, soups, salads, sandwiches and desserts. Meals can be purchased with Munch Money or cash. Check out our daily menus.
