1st Class Cruise

First Class Cruise occurs in the summer after your junior year. Like the summer before, you will become of a part of the ship's crew, this time assigned duties similar to those you will receive upon commissioning as a junior officer. Many midshipmen take this opportunity to narrow down their choice of career option.

Bridge      Cockpit

This summer will continue to familiarize you with warfare systems, develop your leadership skills, and prepare you for commissioned service through active participation. First class midshipmen may conduct their cruises aboard conventionally- and nuclear-powered surface ships, submarines, or as part of an aviation squadron.

Beach      Sub

Summer cruise gives you the opportunity to travel, sometimes to foreign ports. Additionally, you will continue to develop your network of friends and future junior officers during this exciting training opportunity.
