There are many benefits to being a Midshipmen at Northwestern University. One of these benefits is the ability to earn your baccalaureate degree from a prestigious Big-Ten university without incurring a huge financial burden. An NROTC Scholarship at Northwestern University covers full tuition (approximately $30,000 per year). Combine that with a text-book stipend and a tax-free monthly living stipend, and a Four-Year NROTC Scholarship at Northwestern University is worth over $150,000!

Steaming In addition to the financial benefits provided by the U.S. Navy, the Northwestern NROTC Unit has a strong and active alumni network. This network has traditionally been able to provide funds to deserving scholarship and college program Midshipmen to assist in offsetting some costs.

"Delta Company" is a group of motivated, disciplined midship-men who form the Northwestern NROTC Drill Team. They practice drill at 0600 two mornings a week, and at 1900 on Sundays in the fall.
