Financial Support
There are many benefits to being a Midshipmen at Northwestern University. One
of these benefits is the ability to earn your baccalaureate degree from a prestigious
Big-Ten university without incurring a huge financial
burden. An NROTC Scholarship at Northwestern University covers full tuition
(approximately $30,000 per year). Combine that with a text-book stipend and
a tax-free monthly living stipend, and a Four-Year NROTC Scholarship
at Northwestern University is worth over $150,000!
In addition to the financial benefits provided by the U.S. Navy, the Northwestern NROTC Unit has a strong
and active alumni network. This network has traditionally been able to provide funds to deserving scholarship
and college program Midshipmen to assist in offsetting some costs.

"I originally applied to NROTC for the financial assistance. The longer I stayed, the more
I liked it; now I'm starting my Navy SEAL training.
