STUDENT AWARDS AND PRESENTATIONS

Deadline for Student Abstract Submissions Extended to March 31, 2006

The Northwestern Institute on Complex Systems is offering students a chance to present their work at the conference. Students should submit an abstract indicating why their research should be considered part of the complexity world.

Deadline for student abstract submissions has been extended to March 31, 2006. Abstracts should be submitted (as PDF files) to
complexity-conference@northwestern.edu.

From those submissions, 20 will be chosen. Those students will then be asked to give a brief informal presentation to the selection committee. Nine finalists will be chosen: six will be invited to display posters at the conference and will be awarded $100, and three will be invited to present their work to the prestigious audience attending the conference and will be awarded $300.
