PRODUCTION CONCENTRATION
CORE
Production students will focus on the techniques
used in the creation and manipulation of motion
pictures. They will write, direct and edit their own
work, utilizing digital production techniques.

All Production students will take core classes in:
• Camera & Lighting
• Digital Design & Animation
• Digital Editing
• Screenwriting
Both core and elective classes give students tremendous opportunity for individual instruction, with a teacher-student ratio of approximately 1:6.
ELECTIVES
In addition to the daily core, elective classes will supplement each students work. Potential curriculum topics might include*
• Cinematography
• Flash Animation
• Stop Motion Animation
• Sound Design
• Finishing Strategies
• Camera Operation
• 3D Modeling and Animation
• Documentary Filmmaking
• Production Design
• 16mm Film Production
• Directing Actors

FINAL PROJECTS

Each student will write and produce a short
final project.
Formats include:
• Narrative Video
• Animated short
• Documentary Video
• Experimental Video
All projects will be fully realized by the individual student with the help of fellow members of the Production concentration.
