ANIMATION CONCENTRATION
CORE
Animation students will focus on
techniques used in the creation of
animated motion pictures. They
will write, animate and edit their
own work, utilizing digital
animation techniques.
All Animation students will take
core classes in:
• Camera & Lighting
• Non-Linear Editing
• Computer Animation
• Screenwriting
ELECTIVES
In addition to the daily core, elective classes will supplement
each students’ work. Potential animation electives include*
• Stop-Motion Animation
• Flash Animation
• Rotoscoping
• Cell Animation
• After-Effects
• Videogame Modeling
• Cinematic Design
FINAL PROJECTS
Each student, or group of students, will write and animate a short
final project.
Formats include:
• Narrative Animated Short
• Experimental Animated Short
