EVANSTON, Ill. --- Northwestern University’s A&O Productions and the Office of the President announced Thursday (April 24) that Arianna Huffington, the renowned editor-in-chief, chair and president of the Huffington Post Media Group, will be coming to campus this Sunday as a part of Huffington’s multi-city book tour.

Her talk about campus life, stress and coping strategies is open to Northwestern students.

Alicia Menendez, anchor of “AM Tonight” on Fusion -- a new digital satellite and cable television network focusing on news, lifestyle, entertainment and pop culture -- will moderate the discussion.

Huffington’s talk will take place at 7 p.m. in Room 107 of Harris Hall on the Evanston campus. Her book, “THRIVE: The Third Metric to Redefining Success and Creating a Life of WellBeing, Wisdom, and Wonder,” will be available for purchase prior to the start of the event. The book examines the need to redefine what it means to be successful in today’s world. A book signing will follow the conclusion of her talk.

A&O (Activities & Organizations) Productions, Northwestern’s major student-run programming board, planned the event with the office of President Morton Schapiro.
