Lariviere Named Kellogg Professor


Professor focuses on service and supply chain management

EVANSTON, Ill. ---Martin A. Lariviere, professor of managerial economics and decision sciences in the Kellogg School of Management, has been named the John L. and Helen Kellogg Professor.

Lariviere’s research focuses on applying economic analysis to operations management problems. His research has appeared in many leading academic journals, including Manufacturing & Service Operations Management, Management Science, Operations Research and Marketing Science. Lariviere also has served on the editorial boards of several journals.

Lariviere, who joined the Northwestern faculty in 2000, served as the president of the Manufacturing and Service Operations Management Society from June 2007 to June 2008.
