New Director of Compensation Joins Northwestern


Anniese Lemond is an experienced practitioner of human resources compensation

EVANSTON, Ill. --- Anniese Lemond has been named director of compensation in Northwestern University’s Office of Human Resources (HR). 

Lemond is a recognized practitioner of HR compensation with extensive experience in a university setting. She was instrumental in creating a framework for the development of a total rewards program and in improving the effectiveness and efficiency of annual salary planning processes.

Lemond came to Northwestern from the University of Illinois at Chicago, where she was director of compensation. She also held positions at The University of Chicago Medical Center, Motorola and Bank of America Corp. She earned a master of science in management and organizational development as well as a bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She also has earned the designation of Certified Compensation Professional and Senior Human Resource Practitioner.
