Five Years Later

How Northwestern students helped rebuild New Orleans

It has been five years since New Orleans and other parts of the Gulf Coast were devastated by Hurricane Katrina. As the region and the nation look back on the costliest natural disaster in United States history, we highlight one of the many ways the Northwestern University community reached out to our friends in the South. This video highlights the work of 14 undergraduates who, as part of the Alternative Student Break program, traveled to Louisiana to help with the rebuilding of New Orleans. Video produced by Hess Productions.
