Employees of the Year Honored

Gregory Jue and and Patricia Niemeck Georgas, 2010 Employees of the Year.
EVANSTON, Ill. --- Two employees were lauded for outstanding service to Northwestern University and celebrated along with other exceptional and long-serving staff members at the recent Staff Service Recognition Luncheon at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Chicago.

Gregory Jue, program assistant for the Asian American Studies Program in the Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences, and Patricia Niemeck Georgas, program development manager for the department of family and community medicine at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, were recognized as the 2010 Employees of the Year for the Evanston and Chicago campuses, respectively.

Other finalists for the award were Elizabeth H. Adams and Lucy L. Millman on the Evanston campus and Lori A. Palfalvi and Sara E. Thompson on the Chicago campus.

University employees who have been working at Northwestern for more than 20 years were also celebrated. The Staff Service Recognition Luncheon was organized by consulting services of the human resources department with assistance from the Northwestern University Staff Advisory Council.
