Northwestern Stands With Haiti

EVANSTON, Ill. -- In an effort titled "NU Stands With Haiti," more than 30 student groups have been collaborating to organize daily events and drives on campus and in the Evanston community. Organizers hope to raise $12,500 and proceeds will go to Partners In Health and the American Red Cross.

Events included a teach-in, theater productions, panel discussions, a homemade bracelet sale and a yoga class with Lane Fenrich, assistant dean of the Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences.

Friday, Jan. 29

-    8 p.m., 11 p.m. Louis Room, Norris University Center, 2311 Campus Dr. - Vertigo Productions Presents "Soup for Beast"

-    8 p.m., 11 p.m., Shanley Pavilion, 2031 Sheridan Rd. - "Mee-Ow Comedy Show"

Saturday, Jan. 30
