Northwestern Stands With Haiti
Remaining events include the student-produced musical “PARADE” and comedy shows
January 29, 2010EVANSTON, Ill. -- In an effort titled "NU Stands With Haiti," more than 30 student groups have been collaborating to organize daily events and drives on campus and in the Evanston community. Organizers hope to raise $12,500 and proceeds will go to Partners In Health and the American Red Cross.
Events included a teach-in, theater productions, panel discussions, a homemade bracelet sale and a yoga class with Lane Fenrich, assistant dean of the Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences.
Remaining events that are part of "NU Stands With Haiti," fundraising and awareness efforts, include:
