Illinois Implements Ban on Texting While Driving

EVANSTON, Ill --- Many states, including Illinois, are beginning to implement bans on text messaging while driving. Illinois's ban began on January 1, 2010. Roy Lucke, director of research at Northwestern University's Center for Public Safety, discusses the dangers associated with texting while driving.
