Northwestern Athletic Director Jim Phillips on Sports at the University

This academic year marks Northwestern University’s first full collegiate athletics season under the direction of Athletic Director Jim Phillips. Phillips came to the Wildcats last April after serving four years in a similar position at Northern Illinois University…bringing with him a track record of success and commitment to the values that Northwestern has always maintained in collegiate athletics. We recently had the chance to sit down with Phillips and discuss his vision for sports at Northwestern.
