Feinberg School Convocation is May 16


The Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine will hold its graduation convocation at 3:30 p.m. Friday, May 16, in the Grand Ballroom at Navy Pier.

CHICAGO – The Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine will hold its graduation convocation at 3:30 p.m. Friday, May 16, in the Grand Ballroom at Navy Pier, 600 E. Grand Ave., Chicago.

The keynote speaker will be Donald E. Wesson, M.D., F.A.C.P., professor of medicine and vice dean of Texas A & M University College of Medicine, and chief academic officer of Scott & White, a hospital in Temple, Texas with a University Medical Campus in Round Rock, Texas.

A total of 168 graduates will receive an M.D. degree. Seven of these graduates will be awarded a combined M.D./Ph.D. degree, seven will receive a M.D./M.P.H. and two will receive a M.D./M.B.A. In addition, three students will graduate with distinction in research, a new honor.
