Victor Shih on China and the Olympic Torch Protests

As the Olympic torch makes its journey from its traditional home in Greece to the summer games in Beijing, China, protesters are crowding the route citing concerns with China’s human rights record…in particular with Tibet. Victor Shih is an assistant professor of political science at Northwestern University and joins us now to discuss the current situation in China. Victor, what is at the heart of this conflict?
