Alice Eagly on Gender Bias and the Presidential Election

This Tuesday’s primaries in Texas and Ohio are considered by many to be crucial to Sen. Hillary Clinton as she seeks the Democratic nomination for President against Sen. Barack Obama. Clinton would be the first woman nominated for President, while Obama would be the first African American nominated for the job. Alice Eagly is a professor of psychology at Northwestern University and says in most cases it is easier to overcome racial bias than gender bias…
