Employees of the Year, Longtime Staff Honored

Carrie Harper and Laura Gerety have been selected as 2007 Employees of the Year. They were honored recently at the 30th annual staff service recognition luncheon.
Harper is a research administrator at the Feinberg School of Medicine. Gerety is a business administrator in the McCormick School of Engineering and Applied Science.
Other Chicago Employee of the Year finalists were Kathleen Doherty, Accounting Services for Research and Sponsored Programs, and Yolanda Gomez, School of Continuing Studies. Other Evanston finalists were John C. Anderson, McCormick School of Engineering and Applied Science, and Tessie Cachola, Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences.
Northwestern also recognized the longtime service of 97 employees who have worked for the University for 35, 30, 25 and 20 years. They are:
