Answers for Parents of Kids With Special Needs
Information about services and professional guidance will be available this month to Northwestern University parents of children with special needs next month.
January 30, 2007EVANSTON, Ill. --- Information about services and professional guidance will be available this month to Northwestern University parents of children with special needs next month.
One workshop will be held on each campus. The first will be at noon Feb. 15 in the Lurie Medical Research Building Grey Family Room on the Chicago campus. The second will be at noon Feb. 22 at the Norris University Center Alumni Room in Evanston.
Marian Casey and Charles Fox from Answers for Special Kids (A.S.K.) will educate parents about the process for working with schools and will help them become well-informed parent-advocates for children with special needs and learning differences.
Time will be provided for personal questions and general discussion.
