EVANSTON, Ill. --- Patrick Martin, registrar at Northern Arizona University since 1994, has been appointed University Registrar at Northwestern University.
He will assume the position in late January, it was announced by Michael E. Mills, Associate Provost for University Enrollment.
Northern Arizona was part of a seven-school consortium that helped PeopleSoft to develop its first release of student administration software. Martin served as the Student Records Module project manager on this project.
Martin, who has more than 20 years of experience in the field, previously served as associate registrar at SUNY Binghamton for a decade. He has served as president of the Arizona Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admission Officers, president of the State University of New York Registrars' Association, and vice president for professional development of the Middle States Association of Collegiate Registrars and Officers of Admission.
Martin succeeds Suzanne Anderson, who left the University in May to take another position. Mills thanked Michael E. Maysilles “for his excellent work as acting registrar” since May and said Maysilles will return to his position as associate director.
