Health Service Pharmacist Kirk Pivovar Dies at Age 31July 19, 2006
EVANSTON, Ill. --- Kirk W. Pivovar, 31, of Chicago, pharmacist at the Northwestern University Health Service, died suddenly July 15 at St. Mary's Hospital in Racine, Wis.
Mr. Pivovar, who joined the Health Service in May 2005, graduated with a bachelor of science degree from the School of Pharmacology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1999.
A native of Kenosha, Wis., Mr. Pivovar is survived by his parents, William and Jean of Kenosha; three sisters, Amy Buencamino of Madison, Sara Pivovar of Madison, Kari of Chicago; and a brother, Eric of Kenosha.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday (July 20) at the Hansen-Lendman Funeral Home in Kenosha and from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Friday (July 21) at St. Mary's Lutheran Church, 2001 80th St., Kenosha, prior to a funeral service. Interment will follow in Green Ridge Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Special Olympics of Southeastern Wisconsin or scholarships at Northwestern in memory of Mr. Pivovar.
