Nine Faculty Members Recognized in Who's Who

EVANSTON, Ill. --- Nine Northwestern University faculty members have been recognized in this year’s edition of Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers.

They are Irwin Weil, professor emeritus of Slavic languages and literatures; Thomas A. Severini, professor of statistics; Ellen F. Wright, writing program lecturer; Lawrence J. Henschen, professor of electrical engineering and computer science; Owen P. Priest, senior lecturer in chemistry; Sunil Chopra, IMB Distinguished Professor of Operations Management and Information Systems; Mary Ann Weston, associate professor emerita of journalism; Susan A. Dun, lecturer of communication studies and assistant dean of undergraduate advising; and Carol A. Gaetjens, lecturer of education and social policy.

The publication honors approximately 156,000 teachers in its current edition. Those included in the book are nominated by top college students who select the most influential teachers during their academic careers.

Who’s Who Among American Teachers was first published in 1990 and has been published annually since 2004.
