More Than 100 Faculty Honored at Recognition Dinner

A total of 104 faculty members have been honored by the University for “their important recognition from societies and agencies outside the University.”

The faculty members, recognized for a total of 130 awards, were honored recently at a special dinner hosted by President Henry S. Bienen and Provost Lawrence B. Dumas.

The honorees are:

• Guillermo A. Ameer: Early Career Award in Translational Research, Wallace H. Coulter Foundation

The Faculty Honors Committee reviewed all award recipients, who were identified by the deans, and selected the most prestigious awards for University recognition.
