President Henry S. Bienen will share his perspective on the challenges faced by the University in 2004 and his outlook on the advancement and future of Northwestern.
The annual State of the University address will take place from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 17, in McCormick Auditorium at Norris University Center on the Evanston campus. President Bienen will answer questions from faculty and staff members during the program.
Faculty and staff members who are unable to attend the address may submit questions in advance to email@example.com by Feb. 10.
The address will also be webcast on the Chicago campus at Thorne Auditorium, Arthur Rubloff Building.
Individuals will be able to view the webcast from their computer using RealPlayer 10 software. Viewers can go directly to President Bienen's Web page at http://www.northwestern.edu/president/ to watch the webcast. To avoid any potential technical difficulties, it is recommended that individuals download, install and test RealPlayer 10 at least 24 hours prior to the event. Viewers can go to http://www.it.northwestern.edu/webcasting/ for further instructions.
