Northwestern Ranks 13 in Peace Corps Volunteers

Northwestern University earned a top 25 spot on the Peace Corps’ list of “Top Producing Colleges and Universities.” The list ranks institutions based on the number of alumni who currently serve as Peace Corps Volunteers.

This year, Northwestern is number 13 among medium-sized colleges and universities with 34 alumni representing the country abroad. The University of Virginia was ranked first with 84.

The Peace Corps currently has more than 7,700 volunteers in 71 countries, the highest number since 1974.
