Aviv Nevo on Selling a Home Using a For-Sale-By-Owner Web Site
A study headed by researchers at Northwestern University has revealed new information regarding the selling price of homes using a for-sale-by-owner, or FSBO, web site compared to using a traditional realtor. Northwestern economist Aviv Nevo says users of FSBO sites pay a relatively small setup fee of around $150, while realtors charge a commission of around six percent of the home’s selling price…
