Scholarships

Gardner Exum Scholarship 

The Gardner/Exum Scholarship Fund was established in December of 1986 to honor Northwestern University alumnus attorney Milton Gardner, co-founder of For Members Only – Northwestern University’s Black Student Alliance, and professor William Exum, former chairperson of the Department of African American Studies. 

The purpose of this fund is to provide scholarships to students in a manner that supports their academic excellence and recognizes campus and community leadership.

LANU Scholarship

The mission of the Latino Alumni of Northwestern University (LANU) is to establish and nurture relationships among Latinx alumni and students, thereby fostering personal success and enriching the Latinx community.

Each year LANU offers a scholarship to outstanding Latinx students (juniors and seniors during the 2015-2016 school year) who demonstrate financial need and exemplify the goals of LANU.
