Welcome to the LGBT Resource Center!
We work diligently toward providing a safe space and serving as a hub for organizations, offering resources, services, and programs of interest to the LGBT and Allied community at Northwestern. Our goal is to increase visibility and awareness of issues surrounding gender and sexuality by uniting existing community entities and developing our own educational and training programs. Additionally, we advocate for populations, who are, currently and historically, marginalized, exploited, disempowered, or violated based on their social group membership.
Mission
The mission of the LGBT Resource Center is to provide opportunities that enhance the collegiate experience of lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans*, and/or queer identified students at Northwestern University. Through our partnerships across campus, we offer cultural, educational, social and professional development opportunities that promote knowledge and engagement. We strive to enhance the holistic development of students to empower them to lead reflective and success lives.
