Faculty & Staff
MSA provides opportunities for faculty and staff to build relationships with our students outside of the classroom. We invite faculty and staff to serve on MSA committees and we offer space at our two facilities for office hours. If a faculty or staff member is interested in holding office hours at the MSA spaces, contact Ms. Jerre.
MSA is glad to offer presentations, consultations, and trainings to faculty, staff, and departments on campus. Additional information on these services is available here.
University Career Services
University Career Services (UCS) offers programming and services to
undergraduates, graduate students, and alumni. Students receive assistance and coaching with resumes, cover letters, employer searches, graduate school applications, and effective job/internship search strategies. Beat the walk-in lines at UCS by visiting office hours held at MSA! Visit University Career Services' website for more information. Fall office hours coming soon.
Study AbroadNorthwestern students interested in learning more about study abroad opportunities are welcome to visit the Black House to meet with a study abroad adviser. No appointments are needed. Students can visit during the available drop-in hours. Fall office hours coming soon.
Space is available for faculty to host office hours. In the past, African American Studies,
Asian American Studies, and Latina/o Studies have all held office hours in our houses. Fall office hours coming soon.
MSA also distributes an annual student survey, and acknowledges those faculty and staff that students identify as valuable campus resources. See a list of recognized campus partners here.
