Alumni

Multicultural Student Affairs (MSA) fosters networking and professional development opportunities through collaborations with the Northwestern Alumni Association (NAA), outreach to particular alumni clubs, and relationships with individual alumni.

African American Student Affairs sponsors a Welcome Back reception for alumni during Homecoming Weekend.

The MSA staff also fosters relationships with alumni in additional ways including:

  • Inviting alumni to participate in the Latino Networking Gala and A/AASA & NU-A5 Networking Reception.
  • Inviting alumni for Homecoming receptions at the Black House and the Multicultural Center (MCC)
  • Connecting with alumni at major annual events, particularly those organized by our student groups
  • Providing alumni with ongoing academic and career support through letters of recommendation and job references
