Sam Stupp (GMcC77), Board of Trustees Professor of Materials Science, Chemistry and Medicine and director of the Institute for BioNanotechnology in Medicine, is working on problems such as regenerative medicine, the targeting of cancer therapies only to body locations where they are needed and the development of diagnostic tools for the detection of disease or genes using nanotechnology.
