Senior Watch

As this accomplished senior class prepares to step out, Northwestern magazine introduces a few of its stars: the young scientist who learned the value of patience, the stargazing stage star who does research for NASA, the energetic engineer who delights in design, the outspoken advocate for Asian American mental health, the All-American girl who is headed to the WNBA. All are eager to make their mark on the world. They’ve witnessed a wealth of change over the past four-plus years, from the election of the nation’s first African American president to the worldwide economic collapse to revolution in the Middle East and North Africa over the past few months. These graduates, like their predecessors, are well poised to become tomorrow’s leaders.

Interviews by student interns Emily Chow, Katie Glueck, Kira Lerner, Robert Levin, Christina Rosales and Sisi Tang.
