1930s
Adah Straus Jaffer (Mu35) of Miami celebrated her 90th birthday in May. She enjoys spending time with her sons and her two teenage grandchildren. She still takes her family on cruises, where she often participates in passenger talent shows.
Joseph W. Daily (WCAS36) and his wife, Louise Engstrom Daily (WCAS38), of Clearwater, Fla., celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary in March. They both are well and enjoy traveling in the United States and abroad.
Robert B. Eagleston (EB36) of Greenfield, Ind., is president of Eagleston Farms Inc. He is looking forward to celebrating his 70th class reunion at Northwestern.
Genevieve Smith Whitford (WCAS36) of Los Angeles has written three poetry books, including Autumn Sun: The Bright Side of Aging (Harp Press, 2002). She has 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
