Feinberg

As part of its annual orientation week activities, the Feinberg School of Medicine's medical alumni association hosted the incoming Class of 2008 for an evening of comedy at The Second City in August. First-year students also got acquainted with Northwestern's medical community by attending dinners at the homes of 50 alumni and faculty in the Chicago area and a reception following the traditional Founders Day Convocation. 

In November Feinberg dean Lewis Landsberg met with alumni at a reception at the 2004 Association of American Medical Colleges Annual Meeting at the Marriott Copley Place Hotel in Boston. The evening's guests of honor were N. Lynn Eckhert, chair of the organization, and her husband, Louis E. Fazen III (WCAS65, FSM69). Landsberg's travel calendar also includes visits with alumni in Phoenix and Houston in January and February 2005, respectively.
