In September the Law Alumni Association and Office of Minority Affairs co-hosted a networking event at Bob Chinn’s Crabhouse in downtown Chicago. Ninety law students and minority alumni enjoyed great food and music, a riverfront view of the city and the chance to build their professional and social connections. In June another law school networking event in the New York City area attracted more than 50 alums, and additional events are being planned for Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., and San Francisco.

The fall season also included the annual School of Law reunion celebration Oct. 23–25. It opened with the traditional John Henry Wigmore Club Dinner, held at the Sofitel Chicago Water Tower, and ended with individual class dinners within the law school facilities and live music and dancing in the school courtyard.

In other announcements, law school alumni now receive a 20 percent discount on all continuing education courses offered through the school’s executive and professional education department.
